Tenant FAQs
Answers to your frequently asked questions
-
Can you hold a place before I apply?
Unfortunately, we do not take properties off the market in order to “hold” the property for a prospect. If you have seen the property and want to apply, we will process the application. If the screening process goes well, you will be able to secure the property with a security deposit that will hold the property for 14 days until the lease will begin and rent will be due. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Actually we require the security deposit and whatever the pro-rated amount of the rent is depending on the time of the month you move in. After that, you simply pay the rent as agreed for the duration of the lease. -
Is the deposit refundable?
We ask you to sign a form acknowledging that the security deposit is NOT refundable. Furthermore, we ask that you give serious consideration to renting our property or any property for that matter. -
Can I have a Roommate?
It depends on if you both qualify for the home. Watch the video below.

Is the Owner going to sell the house with me in it?
We certainly hope not and STRONGLY discourage owners from selling the property with a tenant in the property. Below is a video to hopefully give you some peace in working with us.

I want to get a pet. What do I do?
ASK. Please ASK. In most cases the owner will be ok with it but we want to make sure of that as some owners have preferences that they are adamant about. So, let’s talk about the idea beforehand. -
